Data Migration Lead (Freelancer)

At TCR Group, we’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Data Migration Lead –(FREELANCER) to drive one of our most critical projects—integrating newly acquired entities into our SAP landscape. This is your chance to shape the way we manage data migration across our growing international business. You’ll work closely with both IT and business stakeholders, developing repeatable frameworks that will be used to power future growth. 🎬 A snapshot of what you will be doing here

• Support the integration of a newly acquired entity into the TCR group IT landscape by leading the transition from legacy ERP systems (AFAS and INFOR EAM) to SAP S/4HANA.

• Contribute to the industrialisation of the acquisition and M&A process by developing scalable, repeatable data migration tools and interfaces for future growth and integrations.

• Prepare and manage updates to the current data migration tools, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

• Lead and coordinate the technical aspects of data upload cycles, including planning, execution, and validation.

• Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies during the preparation and upload phases in close collaboration with business owners and stakeholders.

• Ensure all changes to migration tools are well-documented, including processes, configurations, and lessons learned.

• Develop and implement future-proof migration methodologies that support rapid onboarding of new acquisitions and large-scale data migrations.
  

🕵 We are looking for an individual who:

• Holds a university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or IT Engineering

• Brings expertise in SAP, data migration, and ETL processes

• Has strong technical skills in SQL and ABAP

• Possesses an analytical mindset and thrives in solving complex data issues

• Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

• Is highly proactive, takes ownership, and delivers results

• Adapts to change and works with agility in a fast-paced environment

• Documents processes thoroughly to ensure future efficiency

• Can work independently but collaborates closely with team members
